Thanks to a new interview, we now know that Final Fantasy XV managed to recoup all of its development costs thanks to day one global sales, quite the feat!

Hajime Tabata also confirmed that 70 percent of the Final Fantasy 15 development team are still working on the game. They're continuing to work on free patches and updates, as well as paid DLC such as Final Fantasy XV VR, Episode Gladiolus, Episode Prompto and Episode Ignis.

Elsewhere in the interview Tabata confirmed that Final Fantasy 15 Nintendo Switch is not a thing, but did say that they're experimenting with Final Fantasy XV on PC.
