New Pokémon Snap Playthrough Part 14 (EXTRA #7 - All Outaway Cave and Aurus Island Requests!)
19In this video, we finish up the last of the Requests that this game has to offer. The only one missing is "Proud Warrior", which is currently glitched at the moment. Once a new patch releases, I'll record a video of it! Anyways, here's more in-depth descriptions on how to complete these Requests!
Crobat Touches Down: At the end of the main route, you'll see some Crobat flying around. Hit them with Fluffruit and one of them should head behind you and lower itself to the ground. Feed that one a fruit and take a photo as it's eating!
Joltik Adjoined: This can only be done on Research Level 3. Take the alternate path that's unlocked behind the second Mawile by hitting the Carbink and the first one with Illumina Orbs, then hitting the Diancie with one. You'll see some Joltik and a Jolteon in the forest area. Lure Joltik to the Jolteon using Fluffruit, then snap a photo of it jumping on top of Jolteon and latching itself to it. Be careful, because Joltik is VERY small. You need it to be the focus and not Jolteon.
Take a Good, Hard Look: On the descent down the cave with the waterfall, look to the left and scan to find a Geodude. Hit it with a Fluffruit, then take a photo of it climbing afterwards.
Gem Royalty: Level 3 only. Take the branching path in the beginning and wait until you get to the end with the Carbink. Toss Illumina Orbs at the large rock formation to the left before descending. If done correctly, some Vivillon should appear. With the Carbink, hit all four of them with Illumina Orbs and then play a melody. They'll start to dance and Diancie will appear. Hit Diancie with an orb, watch it use its power, then snap a photo of the happy Carbink afterwards! Also make sure Diancie's in the shot too, but not the focus.
Gengar the Prankster: In the descending area with the waterfall, check the edges of the course to find one of Gengar's portals and a sleeping Croagunk. Hit the portal with an orb for Gengar to peek out, then hit Croagunk with one so Gengar notices it. Gengar will play a prank on Croagunk. Take a photo of Gengar specifically as it's doing this.
Noibat's Refined Palate: At the end of the main course, simply toss a Fluffruit to one of the Noibat. It'll scan the fruit before eating it. Take a photo as it's doing this.
The Biggest Pumpkaboo of All: You need to hit the four Pumpkaboo scattered across the beginning of the course with Illumina Orbs. One is right at the beginning to the left, then there's one hiding way high up to the right near one of Gengar's earliest portals, then there's a third one at the very start of the waterfall descent up and to the left. The final one is spotted on the first branching route (do NOT take the Mawile one for this request) near some Geodude. You can actually find its location easier by hitting the Geodude with some orbs and watching where the one that gets launched lands. It'll be right by it! Anyways, follow the path to the end (and again, don't use the Mawile path) to find a Supersize Pumpkaboo. Simply take a photo of it.
Croagunk Chorus: Level 3 only. During the waterfall descent, turn around and you'll find three Croagunk, each one on a different ledge. Turn around once you lowered yourself a bit more, then play a melody and hit them in this order: middle, top, bottom. The Croagunk will laugh and then float up into the air. Take a photo of one as they're doing this.
Drifloon Puffed Up: Take the main path and hit the first sleeping Crobat to the left with an orb, and then wake up the one to the right with a Melody. Gengar will scare it. Afterwards, you'll be prompted to take a new route, the rimstone path. Take it, hit the Crystabloom, and it'll light up all of the pools of water. You'll see a Drifloon inflate and happily fly about. Take a photo of it!
Clefairy by Moonlight: Level 3 only. In the descending waterfall area, look out for a group of Clefairy by a Crystabloom by looking down and to the left. Hit the Crystabloom and the Clefairy with orbs, then play a melody. If done correctly, the Clefairy will fly up and do a little dance. Take a photo as they do this!
Sound Asleep: Simply take a photo of the sleeping Sableye in the crystal area by turning right and peeking into the gap. Snap a photo of it, and be sure not to wake it up!
Anger Outlet: Lure the Rampardos close to the end of the main path with some Fluffruit until it's right in front of Gengar's portal. It'll headbutt the wall trying to hit Gengar. Take a photo as it does this!
Hydreigon Berserk!: Level 3 only. Follow the Hydreigon through the main route and play a melody near it when it's close to you during the last stretch of the course. It'll start to descend to the water. Toss some Fluffruit in it and take a photo of Hydreigon while it's eating!
