Star Survivor is an interesting new addition to the 'survivor' genre. Most survivor-type games really have you buy into the power-fantasy and Star Survivor is no exception. The big difference though is you gotta work for the fantasy. This game is challenging, but incredibly rewarding once you get a hang of the different weapon combos, the ship's drift, and the various triggers that increase your power exponentially. Overall this may be one of my favorite new games to kill time with. And the campaign is nice too and differentiates the game from other in its category. I'm looking forward to seeing how this game improves! I definitely haven't been disappointed so far!
