Addendum: Getting 10,000 coins here may be possible, but quite difficult. I'm at 9,840 so far, even with some stomping blunders. Although coin rush with good stages should net 30,000 coins a run.

Pretty sure most of you are well aware of this, but may as well show this off just for fun.

When the commercials emphasized coins, they weren't kidding. Gold flower, gold ring, star, and goomba stomp combos all contribute to many coins and 1-ups in this early stage. And yes, so many coins such that you can get over 9,000 from stomping on goombas. Assuming the max is 9,999 coins in a stage, haven't quite hit that yet.

No reason to have problems with lives in this game given they throw extra lives like candy. And this level is a decent place to grind for lives and even points.

Not hard to get the triple crown lives. I think I mistakenly mentioned that the 1,111 life limit was in the SMB Wii, but I think it's actually in SMB 3D Land.
