New Super Mario Bros Wii Multiplayer: World 3-Fortress
2Part 22 of a multiplayer playthrough of New Super Mario Bros Wii for the Nintendo Wii. Mario (MacDaddyNook), Luigi (SunBurntKen), Blue Toad (Duck) and Yellow Toad (RyuKasakei) trek through the first world on their quest to save Princess Peach from Bowser.
The fortress in World 3 is made up of a vertical climb atop rotating box-like platforms and an enemy-filled elevator section. During the elevator portion of the level, an easy way to earn many extra lives is to leave the first POW-Block alone and dodge, but not kill, all of the enemies until the first spike-balls appear. Eventually, the spike-balls will trigger the POW-Block which eliminates all of the enemies accumulated during the climb.
The boss fight with Lemmy emulates that in Super Mario Bros. 3. Instead of shooting magic projectiles from his wand like his siblings, Lemmy hurls bouncing balls at the players in attempt to force them down one of the holes on either side.
