Apperantly this level has been called the hardest in the entire game. Where was I when the Mario committee came up with that decision? I think 8-5 deserves that reward, this one falling in second. I think this is also the same comittee that determined a star MUST be used in this level.

This stage is definitelly the climax of World 9 in New Super Mario Bros Wii. It's full of ice platforms that melt from the fire of Pirana Plants and reveal snapping ground enemies or bottomless pits. Everything in this level exists to make sure you die, but it's built with speedrunning in mind unlike 8-5. This video shows one way to navigate this level while getting all the star coins, without getting hit, and starting as normal Mario.

BTW, sorry for the late post. For some reason my software got deleted and so did my driver for the Dazzle (my recording device). It took me a while to realise what the problem was, and fix it.
