New Tesla 2024 Model 3 now available with a higher range
Tesla has released an updated version of the Model 3 sedan in North America, following its debut in Europe, the Middle East, and China last fall. The 2024 Model 3, code-named "Highland" during development, features changes like a sleeker hood, low-profile headlights, and two new colors: stealth gray and ultra red. The previous three versions are now reduced to two: a Long Range AWD model and a more affordable Rear-Wheel Drive version. The Performance model is no longer available.
The 2024 Long Range Model 3 boasts an estimated range of 341 miles (548 kms), up from the previous 333 miles, while the rear-wheel model maintains a range of 272 miles. Both versions have the same starting price as the previous year's models. Notably, the top speed for the 2024 Model 3 is listed at 125mph for both versions, a decrease from the 2023 model's varying speeds. Tesla emphasizes improvements such as acoustic glass for a quieter cabin, updated suspension tuning for improved ride quality, enhanced interior materials, ventilated seats, customizable ambient lighting, a brighter center touchscreen, and an upgraded sound system with up to 17 speakers.
