0Many Indians are going electric, and many of you have been asking me about my thoughts in reference to the upcoming electric vehicles. So let's take a look at the upcoming electric cars that you might be interested in.
Tata is expected to launch the Tata Punch EV with an estimated range of 300 km and a very basic design, something similar to the Nexon EV, while priced at around Rs 12 lakh, making it an entry model.
Tata is also expected to launch the Tata Electric Harrier that would have an interesting design and even though we don't have much details apart from the rumors, the company has created a website around the same called as harrier.ev where you can get updates. The EV is expected to be costlier than the Nexon, at around Rs 25–30 lakh.
Maruti showcased their Concept Electric SUV “eVX” in Japan, which promises a range of 550km while powered by a 60 kWh battery pack. The design does look quite bold, and if it gets launched in India, it can definitely get huge interest considering the brand Maruti.
Mahindra is expected to bring their EV with the XUV700's electrified version, called the XUV E8, which is an SUV from Mahindra expected to launch at around Rs 30 lakh.
