While working on a client's PC that was built by a third party, I noticed that only one of the heatsink screws were actually connected to the motherboard backplate. I investigated and sure enough the heatsink was only being held in place with thermal paste and one leg.

Given how the AMD Ryzen 5 heatsinks sit on the motherboard, I had to manually secure the heatsink to the board - there was no way I was going to let this rig boot normally into Windows and potentially thermal throttle or cook itself.

The cables were also a mess. That was not my doing.
