Famitsu published sales results for the final week in December showing the Nintendo Switch passing the life time sales of the Wii U. While we are still waiting for Media Create to post their numbers, it seems the Switch has passed the Wii U life time sales in just 10 months. This marks a massive turn around for Nintendo and shows the Switch is heading in a different direction than the Wii U. Redout 34BigGames CEO made a blog post calling out Digital Foundry's analysis of the game after DF missed the resolution scaling and claimed that Redout was 1080p on the Xbox One X. After correcting the matter, DF removed the video and apologized. The big question here is: was this an over reaction, or is the resolution war becoming so serious that a company needs to defend themselves against false information.
