Keylocker - 00:06:11 - if I had one word to pick to describe Keylocker it would be: stylish. This game drips aesthetic top to bottom from the art to the music to the world-building to the character designs. This game knows exactly what it's about and it's making zero compromises. Unfortunately the drawback to that is that the UI ends up being kind of confusing, and navigating the combat scenes is frustrating. I was getting trounced in the tutorial battle repeatedly, as the game expects some lightning fast reflexes in order to be effective in combat. Failure to be quick is thoroughly and devastatingly punished. It also has a somewhat convoluted health bar / damage mechanic that I understood, but didn't like.

Cabernet - 01:19:01 - A second narrative-driven adventure game with stats and equipment? What are the odds?! In Cabernet, you are a lady doctor that died (reasons not yet disclosed) and come back as a vampire. You are introduced to the other half of society (the vampire side) and you are forced quite quickly to navigate the politics as well as the practical nature of vampire life. The game gets a bit heady at times with its various conversations, but I am very intrigued. It also has Brian David Gilbert doing a voice and I swear to god if he's not in more of the game I will riot.
