Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. And miss it I did, with 5 of these 7 games.
No point making a full review now, that ship has long sailed. But snap judgments? Can do!
So we start with Mass Effect Andromeda. It's fine. Just fine. For a full review and a showcase of the cinematic realism mod, see here - https://youtu.be/u4hRd1PFvpw
Nier Automata. I originally didn't play it, as I thought it for Weabs. My opinion doesn't change, but it's a great game as well. Welcome to the darkside, Raff!
Inside. A bit spooky, part mystery, sprinkle of horror, dash of gallows humour; wonderfully mixed and executed. I cant recommend Inside enough.
Space Hulk Deathwing. The games patches now total about 2 billion times the size of the original game, and it's still not finished. Put it back in for another 6 months; Deathwing ain't finished!. Full review here - https://youtu.be/rfCH5SaG5-E
Quake! Quake Champions Beta is currently happening, so I did the only reasonable thing and went back to the original game. My experience totalled owning Quake 64 when I was about 14, and playing it at 1000fps with 3GB of textures and a totally rad fan made engine (LordHavoc's DarkPlaces Quake Modification) was good goOD GOOD!
Dungeons 2. For free, it is fine. It feels a bit like a pay-to-win game that is actually free. Slow. Easy.
Dungeon Keeper 2. Mate, quality. If you never played it as a kid, you probably wont appreciate it now or see the appeal. If you did, and you know what you're doing, you know what's up; can't be beaten. It's a Daniel Larusso crane kick of a game.
