Best way to do this is with a one handed weapon againt smaller armored enemies, simply so they live long enough.

Kite around 10 or so enemies, and just single slash them till you get it. The combo timer is around two seconds, so make sure you lock on to not waste time locating the next enemy. So long as your weapon isn't fully developed, this is free.

Couple things to note: I'm not bothering to block attacks, because if you parry anything, you'll basically one shot smaller enemies, and they barely have enough health to make this possible.
Another important thing is to order your allies to be on guard so they do NOTHING. They can knock enemies away from you and reset your combo counter.
