How CD Projekt RED was able to introduce a fast, easy-to-learn, and nondestructive texturing system? Why Night City textures are crisp even though their sources may be actually low resolution? Is baking textures really necessary? Why do we need to paint only one variant of a garment to quickly create ten more unique pieces of clothing? How to keep a consistent look of textures while hiring multiple artists? What if we want to introduce changes in the late phase of production? The presentation contains the results of the City Creation project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund within Sectoral Programme GAMEINN, Operational Programme Smart Growth 2014-2020, provided by The National Centre for Research and Development.
