Hi everyone, I’m Nikash Gill speaking. It’s been a long time since I last made a cooking episode. This time, I learnt how to do another pasta dish. This one is called Spaghetti with prawns and spinach, and was inspired by an Italian chef called Gino D’Acampo. Again, I will be showing you my version since its all about experimentation. It is also best when served immediately. Let’s get cooking.
I did mess up a bit with my words from time to time, and this was heavily edited to save the video length. Also, this is just a guideline, but I tried my best.

Ingredients (serves for 4 people):
500g Long Spaghetti broken into half
Salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
4 tablespoons cooking oil
2 garlic cloves, sliced
1 red chilli, deseeded and finely sliced (Alternatively, 1 heaped teaspoon of chopped onions (includes a normal and red onion, garlic cloves, seasoning pepper, and a slice of ginger))
250g spinach leaves
360g uncooked and peeled prawns
4 tablespoons chopped flat-leaf parsley
2 fresh tomatoes, diced
Optional: 1/2 lemon or lime squeezed

Method:
1. After boiling the water with salt, cook the pasta in a medium sized pot for roughly 12 minutes on a medium heat.
Optional: You can also warm up a baguette of garlic bread for 15 minutes at 180c (fan oven)
2. Meanwhile, in a large pot, heat the oil over a medium heat and sizzle the garlic/chopped onions
for 2 minutes. Add the chilli (if you have any) and spinach and cook for a further 3-4 minutes.
3. Add the prawns with the parsley and season with salt and black pepper. Stir well and continue to cook for 3-4 minutes.
4. Once the pasta is cooked, drain the water, and transfer the pasta into the large pot with all the ingredients, then lower the heat
5. Squeeze the lemon/lime and tomatoes and stir everything together for 1 minute. Serve immediately.
