The developers did say switch patches are slow for approval, so the load times are still bad. The sale helped a ton. No idea why steam and ps4 versions didn't have a sale (ps5 is separate, which is bs).

I am glad this is different from donkey kong/crash bandicoot in a few ways, like having a selectable mount/pet summon (one would eat enemies similar to yoshi), or having a mix of 2d and 3d as well as multiplayer. Though I'm not sure if you can toggle from easy mode after starting.

It is a surprisingly big game, with switch about half the size of steam at 11 gigs.
