For this part, we get to run around Ryu’s village after he wakes up. We also get to see Momiji’s massive tits. Which reminds me, if you shake the control, the motion controls will actually move the female character’s breasts. I tend to shake my leg sometimes while playing and accidentally did this a few times, so I had to force myself to stop.

Anyways, walking around Ryu’s village is actually one of the story segments I like about NG3. It was fun to see Ryu’s village actually be a village and not just a vacant area that got annihilated while he was out fishing or something. We never actually see the rest of his clan in other main NG games, so it’s cool to see some life here.

And I clarified the main NG games for a reason, before anyone goes and tries to correct me. I haven’t played the DS game or any other obscure title I may be forgetting.

At the village, the bow gets upgraded to where if Ryu holds the arrow for a while it’ll charge up the shot and hit harder. You will use this absolutely never because this is a fast paced game and the time required to aim that is better spent not being hit by something. You’d only ever use this in co-op where someone could distract the enemy and even then I think you’re better off just rapid firing the bow.

After leaving the village, we get to have Momiji as an NPC ally. She helps us fight some enemies, which is nice. We also fight Obaba, who apparently just doesn’t understand how dying works considering Ayane killed her in NGS2. I’m gonna assume she also died in the DS game, so this is probably her second time coming back to life.

The ‘boss’ fight with Obaba is more of a spectacle fight than anything. All you really do is slash away at warts on her arms when they’re lit up and fight of Black Spider Ninjas in the meantime. Momiji flips from needing to be rescued and helping fight the enemies throughout the fight. Nothing much to say about that.

Afterwords, we get to see Joe Hayabusa in a cutscene. Easily the most Japanese sounding person in this entire game.
