This is in heavy response to a lot of criticism on Twin Galaxies. Usually I do not post potential World Record runs until they are verified for obvious reasons, but this one is going up to prove a point. I am sick and tired of people just x-copying and stealing my strategies without telling me, SO, this one is open. Just leave a comment when you view it please.

Before I detail my run, I am going to give credit to Hotarubi and SDA's vgmrsepitome (Jim Hanson). Usually my points runs are conservative and everything, but after Juan Castellanos upped the ante, I decided to pull a few tricks from watching and practicing the speed runs on my spare time. This enables me to hit the spots without losing more time than is necessary.

OK, now a general detail about the pressing spots, so everyone can improve their game:

1-1: Hit the three roaches and abuse the respawn there for extra points. Art liked: Art of the Fire Wheel (lets you get a quick jump)
2-1: Eagles early. Run back and forth and jump and nail the eagles. It's a free stage, kill as many as you can.
2-2: This is an exceptionally dangerous stage, but you can press on the Jason look-alikes before the big jump where you need the wind at your back. They come kinda free. The gun speedrun trick is not really required here.
3-1: Use a combination of two spots. You have the Will-o-Wisps and the rolling guy to start off, then when you hit 100, move on, and hit the Hustlin' Jims late in the stage. Press the last part hard.
3-2: Hit the Jason-esque guys before the last jump. Damage boost up to save time.
4-1: Use the rock guy who throws rocks about midway through. Really easy area to press hard.
4-2: Not a lot of great spots here, and the water makes it exceptionally dangerous. Needs more research.
5-1: Use the roach/bat area after you climb down the ladder. Take it down to 90 or 100, then do the stage. Kill the Pumpkin Heads at the end for cleanup until the timer reaches 5.
5-2: This stage is exceptionally a pain to press on, probably the other stage that needs improvement. I'm right now using the globs, there might be other areas, but god does the ice make it dangerous!
6-1: SPEEDRUNNING IS ESSENTIAL IN THIS ENTIRE ACT! You really need to hit 6-1 and 6-2's areas as hard as possible, as they give you over 100K. But for spoilers, hit the three one-eyed enemies towards the end, take it down to 25-30 seconds.
6-2. Hit the crouching demons. Get between them, spend your lives here. Used a different trick where I skipped the clone intentionally on the pressing, because they throw off the pattern and screw you up occasionally.
7-1. THE BIRDS! THE BIRDS! Hit the one spot midway through, then nail the bats at the door until you're at 5.
7-2. Damage boost late, kill the birds there, then go to the end, get the Restore Life and jump birds until AGAIN you get down to 5.
MAKE SURE YOU KILL THE FINAL BOSSES! Over 300K available here.

And that's the point pressing case in a nutshell. Have fun!
