Ninja Gaiden III (Act VII)
2Ryu meets up with Clancy again and he reveals to Ryu that the ruins are actually an inter-demensional warship!! ???? Ooookay..:s
Anyways, it breaks out of the ground and blasts an entire mountain away, demonstating the awesome power it posesses. Clancy has a special surprise in store for Ryu as well.
Okay, getting to the surprise. This level is, BY FAR the WORST and MOST enduring level I have ever had to face. Their are probably a couple of other games I'm not able to recall at the moment, but as far as I know this IS the WORST!! Their are enemies everywhere, and traps that can kill you in an instant. Electrical barriers, the wind in the first block that helps you're opponents a lot and spikes that spring out of the wall that take off quite a chunk of you're health! And no, I ain't being cheap with the Fire Wheel. It's just that if you don't use it, you'll run out of time before you get to the end, which kills you. So I HAD NO choice but to use it. I can play these levels without it if anybody wishes to see it, as I demonstrate with the electrical barriers in the conveyor belt part. But this level is the embodiment of ACTION difficulty in games. It is not comparable to puzzle games, I'm just saying the hardest ACTION oriented level in the history of NES games!
The bosses are what really posed a problem. I got used to the level quicker than I did trying to fight the bosses. They caused me to have to do this 20-25 times. Without the sword extender and the HORRIBLE time limit, it's VERY difficult to beat all three of them. The first one is a pain in the ass cause of his lightning that comes down and seems impossible to dodge at times. The second boss is kinda of a bad joke, but the last boss makes up for this by FAR. He's almost just as brutal as the first boss, but I'd still rank the first boss as worse. He's the one I died at the most.
