This game allows you to control several characters from the Ninku manga/anime and travel the world, fighting people in a traditional 2D fighting game style. The mechanics are a little busted...I can mash the buttons and beat the snot out of the CPU because attacks are so rapid, but the game is still pretty fun. It would be awesome if the framerate were smoother, but I guess it couldn't be helped...or could it? Regardless, the game has some very nice backgrounds, but the spritework could've been a bit better. The music is only so-so, though the title theme is pretty nice.

The gameplay allows you to charge up power to perform powerful attacks. The more you charge, the more powerful special attacks you can perform. When you charge your power until your special bar (underneath your life bar) turns purple, you can perform a super powerful attack (that looks pretty neat). It's a pretty neat game, especially considering that it's based on a manga/anime (a lot of games based on manga/anime are mediocre), but I personally still prefer MM Power Rangers: The Movie.
