SonicN is essentially "Sonic Advance" for the Game Boy Advance, but without the Chao Garden and with numerous elements that really bog down the experience. I've even heard some fans call the game "unforgivable", and it is pretty bad for a number of reasons. The framerate is choppier, the visuals are pretty bad unless you figure out that you can actually increase the viewing area, where it still suffers (and you use the other mode when you want to see a smidge further ahead), the lack of width (as the system has a "portrait" display) makes it much harder than it has to be, and the audio is fairly bad even by N-Gage standards.

It's not entirely Sega's fault and it was a launch title, but given that the N-Gage can recreate Tomb Raider surprisingly well and produce a few neat 3D titles with a smoother framerate than SonicN, you really have to wonder what went wrong. I just don't think Sonic was cut out for the N-Gage in general, but here he is, and he's brought company. Oh, and due to how I had to set up the camera, I couldn't play like I normally would.
