21Unfortunately, the only way to output video directly from a DS is to mod it. Using software like "Snickerstream" on a 3DS won't work as the 3DS switches to DS mode whenever you play a DS game.
This video is just emulator footage. I dumped the ROM from my Pokemon Black cartridge on my 3DS to my PC and was able to play that way. Using "Checkpoint", I was also able to create a backup of my cart's save file to play on the emulator.
Although I prefer to play on original hardware, I believe this is the best and easiest way to play when recording gameplay (unless you're able to afford a capture card mod).
