Nintendo Switch 2, No Live Streaming Options Or Streaming Apps Like YouTube Or Twitch + Bonus Clips
So you have yourself a New Nintendo Switch 2, you bought the Webcam & you want to be a Live streamer. You set up you webcam, Mic, all are recognized & working with the Nintendo Switch 2. You are all set to go, so you go to the Nintendo E-Shop to download Youtube & Twitch.
Shocking turn of events... There are no streaming apps whatsoever. No Youtube, no Twitch not even Netflix...
Nobody has made a video talking about how to directly livestream from your Nintendo Switch 2, so here I am, Youtube's best kept secret gaming channel to give you guys the deets.
There is a youyube app, but you cannot download or install it because it somehow conflicts with gameplay.
So here is what I think is going on. You've never been able to livestream directly with the switch 1, but with the Nintendo Switch 2, they give you the option to either use your own USB plug & play webcam or use the official Nintendo Switch 2 webcam.
I haven't tested the Nintendo Switch 2 official webcam so I can't give deets on that. But almost any webcam will work. I tested the PS5 HD webcam & it did not detect it but then my no brand HD webcam did get picked up & it ran perfectly. You can also plug in a Mic or headset with a mic & test mic audio recording & that will work but you cannot record gameplay of it, strangely enough.
I think they will incorporate a live streaming option at some point but just not yet. Maybe they wanted to test the integration of the chat system 1st, then handle the livestreaming option.
I really do hope that is the case. I do not want to have to hook up my capture device to my computer & do it that way, it sucks & is very inconvenient.
Now onto the bonus clips:
How to select multiple files to delete, an update to my previous video & lastly some gameplay of Super Mario Kart World.
The way you select multiple files is not clear or indicated, but you have to hold down the select button (A or B if you modified the layout) & either move forward to select the next file or down to select rows of multiple files then press the delete button. That's it.
Thanks for watching.
