Nintendo Switch Online rumoured to be adding Game Boy titles

Nintendo Switch Online may be getting Game Boy and Game Boy Color titles, a leaker has claimed.

In the latest ‘Nate the Hate’ podcast, known insider and leaker NateDrake claims that Nintendo will be adding Game Boy and Game Boy Color titles to Switch Online’s library in the coming weeks.

This is then backed up by website ‘Nintendo Life’, who claims it has “confirmed with its own sources that Game Boy and Game Boy Color titles are likely coming to the Switch Online service "really soon".”

Nintendo Switch Online first launched in September 2018, allowing members to access online multiplayer while also providing a library of classic games from previous consoles.

When it launched, a library of NES games was added to the service. A year later, SNES titles were added to the online library. Could Game Boy titles be next?
