Hi, this simple video shows you that sometimers on Mario Kart 8 it can feel like your controller is faulty because it will drift left or right. This is because often tilt / motion control has been enabled without you selecting it and you are holding the controller at a slight angle which seems like the left analogue stick is drifting but it is not.
The video also shows you how to check if your joy con or pro controller really is drifting by testing the controls in the system settings.
