Here in The Basement, we think it's great that there's a capture button on the Switch. Will Nintendo start to ease up on content creators who enjoy their games?
The HD Rumble technology sounds really cool. One of the most memorable parts of the presentation was the ice cubes falling into the glass and the water pouring into it - if the Joy-cons feel that good, it'll be amazing and immersive.
Hopefully the "1 2 Switch" game really will be a big hit at parties - I could see this game as being the new Wii Bowling (which helped sell many of the first 100 million consoles)
Super Mario Odyssey looks like a crazy new experience. It definitely seems like a true 3D game, quite possibly non-linear with a hub world like Mario 64 and Sunshine. I hope the hat with eyes doesn't make annoying noises!
Many of the 3rd party games look great. Xenoblade gave us goosebumps, and Octopath Traveler looked like a SNES RPG multiplied by a billion.
Skyrim is confirmed! Totally portable Skyrim is an exciting thought, and demonstrates that the Switch must have decent power (or at least be relatively easy to port games to)
Breath of the Wild is a LAUNCH TITLE! We'll be playing it on March 3rd! The music in the Zelda trailer was amazingly beautiful. CAN'T WAIT for this game!
