MEGASMILAX
When you enter this battle, you'll fight against a single Smilax. Beat it with timed regular attacks from Mario, Mallow, and the Princess. After you beat it, the Shy Away will water the plant and you'll have to fight 2 Smilaxes. Beat them quickly by using Mallow's Snowy special. When they're gone, Shy Away will return and water it again, making you fight 3 Smilaxes together. Beat them with another Snowy attack and the Shy Away will fly over again and water it. Now, 2 Smilaxes and the Megasmilax will grow from the plant! Now, you should have your attacks directed toward the Megasmilax. Have Mallow cast Snowy, Mario do timed regular attacks, and the Princess attack or heal when needed. Keep attacking the Megasmilax and Smilaxes until they're all defeated.
Following the battle, the Shy Away will fly away, dropping a note nearby. Read the note and take the Seed that was attached to it. Now, go down the pipe to reach the next area. Here, hit the block and a giant beanstalk will grow out of it. Hit the block a second time and you will climb into the clouds above. In the first cloudy section, defeat the Birdy enemies as you climb the vines. Be sure to grab the 30 Coins and Frog Coin hanging in the air between the vines on the way up. Then, climb the rightmost vine upward to the second section. Here, defeat the first Birdy above and a platform will appear in its place. You will need to run and jump to reach the upper vines. On the lower-left vine is a chest containing a Flower. Hanging to the side of the high vines are 30 Coins and another Frog Coin. At this point, you can either go up the yellow (left) or green (right) vine to proceed. First, take the green vine upward and collect 50 Coins along the vine at the very top. Then, return to the previous area and head up the yellow vine next.
In the area above the yellow vine, climb your way upward and grab another set of 30 Coins and a single Frog Coin along the rightmost vine. Jump onto the small yellow vine in the middle and jump to reveal a hidden platform. Get onto it via the right vine, then jump to the green vine to the left. Climb up it to reach the area above. Up there, hit the two chests to receive a Frog Coin and the Rare Scarf accessory. Then, fall into the right hole in the clouds to land in another area with two more chests. Collect the 2 Flowers from them before falling through to another area below. Talk to the guards standing there and they will indicate the Hot Spring is ahead, but you can not bathe there. So, bounce on the trampoline to get out of this area. When you land, you will find two trampolines. The right one leads to the World Map, whereas the left one leads into Nimbus Land. The left hole will lead you back down the vines, while the right hole goes back to the Hot Spring. For now, proceed into Nimbus Land.
