Come downstairs and have a seat with us on the couch right here in The Basement - the friendliest place on YouTube!
In this episode, Pikminnicus talks to us about the benefits of living in Texas, including Six Flags! We discuss amusement parks a bit. The Basement counters with some of the things they appreciate about Minnesota. WHICH STATE IS BETTER? (spoiler: they both rule).
We also talk a bit about being between Christmas and the release of the Nintendo Switch, along with our anticipation and expectations of the new console.
Pikminnicus tells us about the SIX gordos that can be done - side B, side B angling the control stick down, up-gordo - he's a pretty knowledgeable guy.
We talk a bit about Kirby's Epic Yarn for a short while, and Pikminnicus hilariously compares it to Baby Einstein. We then move on to Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (Peter thinks it looks amazing but the level design could certainly be better). We then talk about some of our personally favorite nostalgic games - Pikminnicus likes Roller Coaster Tycoon of all things, and Peter chose Sim City and Secret of Evermore for the SNES. Ted's game is... Smash Bros! He had a friend who had the game, but he didn't have it himself and he wanted it soooo badly. Poor guy. :)
Then we briefly discuss how every character in Smash Bros has a Disney equivalent. Quite an interesting theory!
Once again, a very special thanks to our friend Pikminnicus for joining us today.
