Nioh Alpha Demo - William Adams vs. Nue (Houjuu?)

Nioh is an action-game developed by Team Ninja and published by Koei Tecmo Games, scheduled to be released for the PS4 at some point in 2016. The closest thing to call it would be "Onimusha Gaiden Souls Starring Totally-Not Anime Geralt of Riva". Nue is the 2nd boss of the Alpha, an Alpha that has greatly impressed me with how fleshed out it already is. I really hope this level of quality is even improved on or at least held up for the final version of the game. If so, we'll have a title as great as it is relentless (Seriously, Nue killed me like 20 times when I first got to her).
Strategically, you have to be very cautious for this boss. The lightning will always strike 4 times and Nue will shake her fur as a tell.
The mouth-lightning is just as, if not more dangerous. Either run far away from Nue when you see her charging it, or, if you're close enough, run to her left flank and swing at her face. The beam will always sweep from right to left.
Claw swipes and tail twists are difficult to anticipate, but can be avoided with a roll/quickstep. The tracking on her rolling attack is very poor, but do watch out, as she leaves both a few lightning strikes (only when she's still buffed) and Youkai Realm puddles
in her way of that roll.
Finally, her snake tail will on very rare occassions spray poison. I don't think that attack even made it in the video. One more tip: Wear lightning resistance. My character had a value of 64 thanks to the spirit guardian Raiken I brought along. That misstep in the beginning would have already ended the attempt, had I neglected my resistances.
Gotta love that anti-climactic, off-screen explosive shuriken finale...
