The Source of Evil is a bad bad time.

Speak to the mage towards the start of the mission to receive the soul-soothing comb.

You can use the comb to cleanse the amrita boulders making the boss a damned site easier. There are 3 of these corrupted amrita boulders to cleanse here. Each one is guarded by ranged and powerful Yokai including an Onryoki.

Once all 3 are cleansed, make your way into the quarry to confront and ultimately defeat gasha-dokuro.

Gasha-dokuro is a giant skeleton. To start with, hack away at one of his ankles, once you've "broken" one, he will fall onto the highest ledge in the area, sprint up to the top and hack away at his head. He will recover after a few seconds.

Now attack his other leg, go back to the top ledge and activate living weapon to hopefully defeat him, if he recovers, runs and repeat the above until he's down
