The appearance of the Vagrant in the community event provoked positive and negative reactions. As always, my intent was to inspire people to learn about building techniques and challenge themselves in a sandbox that doesn't have much to offer otherwise. Since I contributed to reinforce the negative reputation of PC builders, this video will clear up a few misconceptions.

1) Is it possible to build those things in a short time?
Yes, it would take a few tries to build it by rote under 1 hour.

2) How glitchy such structures really are?
As a general rule, the basic fabs which look normally aligned are most likely snapped unless they touch alien structures. The Vagrant mostly consists of regular snaps.

3) What are the main difficulty with glitch building?
Glitching items is a quick and reliable operation, the hard part is only to figure out what to do with it. The wire-glitch takes a little more practice as the delay to validate items is more situational. However, building against alien structures might lead to the toughest glitching operations.

4) What is the main difficulty in this video?
The major obstacle is not to glitch but dealing with items that refuse to snap and rotate the way they should, leading to much more convoluted procedures. Glitch techniques don't help or increase the difficulty when it comes to this matter.

5) Are glitch builders who expose their work doing it to make you feel miserable?
(psychology 101) Advanced building is a lot of fun and added value so we want new players to know it's part of the game. Attention/drama seekers prefer quicker rewards instead, such as terraforming turds and holes around a portal.

6) Are glitched bases worse for the GPU?
All base items are just a same string of values indicating which one it is and the position. Rest assured that snapping or overlapping in weird ways has little to no impact over your graphic performances.

7) PC players are blender users, mods do all the work for them.
I think most aren't and work harder than you imagine, if that's what you have in mind. Of course, the Vagrant cannot be built as is above the water with current known techniques.
