With PC gamimg there is always tweaking. More so with VR, and even more with the 8KX 😅

To my surprise I've tweaked a very decent result in NMS. DLSS helped a lot. Anyway to give you an idea, here are my tweak notes for NMS ...

:

Steam: 70%(!!)

Pitool: 75Hz RR 1.0 no FFR CS 1/2 HAM no PP

NMS: everything Enh, but Textures High, Animation Ultra, GTAO Enh, PostP Std/Off (black trade routes glitch), Vignette Off, DLSS Balanced

Windows: setting Optimize for Background processes

HW: Using the Pimax 8K X VR headset. PC specs 3700X - 2070S - 32GB RAM. Captured with Windows 10 Game Bar. Cropped with Avidemux

Mods: The main mod is the 'Clean HUD' mod ... https://www.nexusmods.com/nomanssky/mods/1563

Notes: By getting rid of the cluttered HUD, NMS becomes much more immersive in VR.
