In addition to the new Side Jobs (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=InjRJMysc6g), the International version of Heroes' Paradise added five new Assassination Gigs. They're unlocked the same way as the normal gigs (getting a Silver medal on a Side Job), meaning you'll sometimes unlock three gigs at once rather than the usual two. Unlike the rougher, out-of-place Side Jobs, these additions gel a little better with the original gigs, though they are definitely off-beat in comparison.

For a little flavor, I started with the Blood Berry and moved up katana models with each gig, mimicking the same progression of a casual playthrough.

Guard Break (0:00)
A straightforward, easy gig. There's really not much to say.

Power-Down Battle(2:31)
The gimmick here is that your katana's battery runs starts draining if you don't keep attacking (and you can't recharge it manually). In concept, it's not a bad idea, but the execution doesn't really work; the battery drain is too slow, the arena is too small, and the gig is too short, so this gig winds up playing like a regular kill-them-all mission. Here's a video where I don't attack at all, showing the ridiculously weak battery drain: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-SHOYCWyFc Hilariously, if you use the Mk. III with infinite battery, the battery won't drain at all. Admittedly, I can't blame them for that oversight because there's no reason to do such an early gig with the final katana (unless you wanted the Gold medal).

Big Bang Anarchy (4:42)
This is one of the more peculiar gigs. Every five kills, you get an Anarchy in the Galaxy. The enemy respawn rate is high, meaning you're constantly getting Anarchies, wiping out at a ton of enemies at a time. It's rather entertaining. This gig is also useful to grind for the 5,100 kills Trophy.

Shortcake Freaks (8:02)
Believe it or not, this is actually the hardest one of the bunch, not because it's actually difficult, but because there's so much lag. I actually failed this gig several times while recording due to dropped inputs from lag (if you don't kill everyone in time, you fail the mission, even if you missed only one enemy). Otherwise, it's not too complicated.

Crowded Train Carnage (10:08)
I find this gig to be rather amusing due to the hilarious amount of enemies jammed together. Because the enemies are packed so tightly, the key here is to get multi-kills with your Death Blows. It's not too hard to finish with any weapon, even the Blood Berry, but it's tricky to get the Gold medal. I was able to get the Gold medal with the Mk. III pretty easily, but I wasn't able to get a Gold with any other katana. That said, I only did a few token attempts before moving on, so it might be possible with more practice/better luck.

As you can likely tell by now, all of the new gigs are rather easy and give a good chunk of money. My theory is that these gigs were meant to be easy money sources to shorten the ranking fee grinds; a number of the changes in HP are pretty obviously reacting to some of the criticisms Wii received, so these gigs are possibly meant to mitigate those issues. Mind you, I'm definitely not saying that is absolutely the case here or that it was even necessary at all; it's just my own theory.

Despite the addition of new Side Jobs and Assassination Gigs, there are actually no new Free Fight missions in Heroes' Paradise. That said, due to the removal of the north city (where a good chunk of Free Fights were located), many of them had to be moved to the main city, which can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpuctjS9ldw
