The Legend of Zelda started back in 1986 with this little game. Back then it was groundbreaking, being the first game you could save your progress in! The story is quite simple, Princess Zelda has been kidnapped by Ganon, who has the Triforce of Power, and Link must find the eight pieces of the Triforce of Wisdom and then defeat Ganon and rescue Zelda. But it's dangreous to go alone, so the Old Man gives Link a sword to fight Ganon and his minions! Thus begins the Legend of Zelda! While it's not chronologically the first game in the series (according to the timeline), it was the first Zelda-game ever created and has a very important place in video game history!
