'No Red Lines' Says Microsoft Gaming Boss Phil Spencer - Xbox Exclusives No Longer Exclusive?
In an interview with Bloomberg reporter Dina Bass, Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer said that there are no ‘red lines’ for what games could come to Playstation and Nintendo. While he did say it’s too early for any kind of decision regarding longstanding Xbox exclusive franchise Halo, it’s apparent that those discussions will inevitably happen, and Master Chief is not exempt from potentially landing on Xbox’s rival platform – especially since Playstation studio Guerilla Games has permanently shelved their “Halo Competitor” series, Killzone.
The four games ported from Xbox to other consoles apparently pleased Phil Spencer and his Microsoft bosses, and there are ongoing conversations regarding which titles that were formerly exclusives will be next. It’s also not specified whether this will include Gears of War: E-Day; however, with Indiana Jones and the Great Circle landing on PS5 next year, the possibility seems more probable than not.
