@pracy's upcoming title Nocturne blends the emotional depth of JRPGs like Chrono Trigger with the pulse-pounding mechanics of rhythm games like Guitar Hero and DDR. We spoke with Corey (Lead Programmer) and Kelly (Tester) to explore the game’s unique combat system, its striking digital-afterlife setting, and how five years of development have shaped this one-of-a-kind title.

Set in a mysterious future where digital consciousness is the norm and you're the first person uploaded in over a millennium, Nocturne places you at the center of a narrative-driven sci-fi world—with a combat system that charges your attacks through rhythm-based input.

With RPG progression, equipment, and a full-featured battle system, this is a rhythm game like no other. The full release is slated for March 2026, and with over 30,000 early demo downloads and overwhelmingly positive feedback, it’s one to watch.

Wishlist it now on Steam and stay tuned with Noisy Pixel for more coverage.
