Norco (100% Longplay - Alternate Scenes)
The notable alternate choices throughout the game. The only one that is mutually exclusive trophy-wise would be Felicietty and Cats and Dogs. The rest are missable and are covered in the playthough, but I still wanted to share some of the extra scenes with you.
0:00 Monkey Business (Part 1)
Wet Monkey/Mister Monkey Man/Bye Bye Brucey
- Choose to take the monkey with you or not. The monkey is required for a lot of missable trophies, however
2:12 The Fall of Troy
Class Traitor
- Troy will stand in your way when you try to get in the convenience store. You can bribe him with some pills or fight him. Fighting him will unlock the trophy/achievment
8:28 Gator-Aide
- when you watch the play, you can choose to side with the gator or with the hunter. Neither choice will make a difference regarding trophies/achievements
16:27 Sketchy Santa
- You can choose to give Santa your last dollar for Ho Ho Ho, or choose not to but you won't be able to get the trophy or the downers later in the game
19:24 Crouton the Cat
Cats and Dogs or Feliciette
- Mutually Exclusive trophies at Sarpy's bookstore. You can pet the cat five times, or wait until you get Lucky's dog and scare the cat by making the dog bark. Both will make Erica angry and stop talking to you.
23:43 Dealer
Ho Ho Ho and Pawpaw's Sprinkle
- one of the Garrett's asks for some drugs from Pawpaw which will help advance the story. There are three means of getting them with each one being a different type of drug and a couple options have some trophies/achievements involved.
- if you go to Lafreniere Park, you will get psychedelics and can unlock Pawpaw's sprinkle here as well
- if you go to Saint Somewhere's, you can get uppers from Bell as long as you aren't wearing a Garret's costume. There aren't any trophies/achievements linked to this
- you can go back to Sketchy Santa, if you gave him a dollar in chapter one, he will give you some downers
-the type of drugs you give the Garrett slightly change the dialogue, but other than that don't make much of a difference
31:07 Boat-ry in Motion
- when you reach the fishing camp, you will need keys for the boat. Going to Unit A is pretty funny, but you will miss an important trophy. Going to Unit B will give you a sidequest and a few trophies: Meter, Terminal Network Meltdown and Network Trouble
47:01 Monkey Business (Part 2)
- Grab the monkey from the lake if you took it with you at the beginning of the game
48:15 John's Head
- You can give Fake Pawpaw John's head right away, but you won't get "Ditch Man Dead". This will spare Gooch's life, however.
- bring the head to Chuck first which will change Gooch's fate
51:18 Bad Ending
- Go straight for the ending without talking to Bruce or giving him the monkey/showing him the recording. This doesn't unlock anything but will give you an alternate ending
52:46 Bye Bye Brucey
- You'll unlock Bye Bye Brucey either way but you'll need to have the monkey from the lake which requires adding the monkey to your party at the beginning of the game. Show the monkey to Bruce to unlock Mister Monkey Man along with Bye Bye Brucey
- If for some reason, you didn't take the monkey, you can show Bruce the recording from the Watcher which you need to record at the end of Chapter 2 with Catherine
59:25 Alternate Endings
- You can choose to leave alone, only leave with your mom's body or only leave with Blake. None of these will unlock Family Reunion, however
1:05:46 Family Reunion
- Save Blake and recover your mom's body to get the best ending and the trophy/achievement
