Nostradamus: The Last Prophecy (2007) | Point & Click | 4K60 | Longplay Full Game Walkthrough
Longplay of Nostradamus: The Last Prophecy, a Point & Click Adventure game, developed by Kheops Studio, Mzone Studio, TOTM Studio (all together apparently), and published by Microids, in November 2007 for the PC. The game does include the titular astrologer and seer who lived during the second half of XVI century, in France. Main hero is actually his daughter, who... likes to crossdress and fake her voice to manipulate people. This here is the GOG version of the game, running at full 4K60 4:3 resolution, forced via dgVoodoo, with nearest neighbour scaling for the assets. The game is almost entirely pre-rendered backgrounds with 3D models, same as all previous Microids' work. Recorded at 4K60 4:3 H.265 HEVC via OBS.
Link to the GOG store page of the game, the version I played on: https://adtr.co/u31bsz It's a refflink, it helps out the channel with a very small % of the games you buy through my link!
The Spiritual. The Supernatural. The Skeptical. All are touched upon in Nostradamus: The Last Prophecy. The player is immortalized as a profiler of sorts in this treasure hunt game - a brilliantly vivid historical rendition of the acclaimed quatrains of Nostradamus.
The adventure begins in the South of France as Salon-de-Provence, and its Royal Family fall prey to unfathomable terrors. You play as Madeleine de Nostradame, the daughter of the famous astrologer, author and apothecary as she hunts down an assassin who uses astrology to disguise his crimes as fearsome prophecies. But when past, present and the uncertain future collide…your more logical nature may turn superstitious.
A fascinating and risky investigation into a series of murder aiming at the Royal Family, which will give to the player the role of profiler before his time. An arsenal of machiavelic puzzles and enigmas based on Astrology, but also Alchemy, Pharmacy and runic symbols. Splendid photo-realistic graphics allowing players to travel in the Provence of the Renaissance, and to discover precisely the reconstituted world of Nostradamus. Progressive degrees of difficulty as well as intuitive handling allow new players to get rapidly up to speed in the adventure.
