INTRODUCTION:
Nosy is a boy who lives in a religious orphanage, he has a special talented gift, he can move between two worlds, the real world and hell. A tragic death causes that a powerful demon catches the souls of the boys living there, Nosy's friends, who called him that way because he was a curious and gossip boy. Go through a gloomy orphanage full of spirits to catch. Look for the yellow bones which will give you clues to get the objects needed to beat the final demon, if you get the wrong objects, you lose the game. Remember to look at the moon side.

REVIEW:
This is a Horror theme based game, and you have to use your special powers to make your way through the orphanage, and set free the 50 souls of your friends, before the final battle with the evil demon.

When pressing fire button you will switch between the normal world and hell. When you have switched to hell a timer will count down from 6 and when reaching 0 you will come back to the normal world. When back in the normal world the timer will go up to 6 again, and when it is on 6 you can go back to hell if you want.

If the timer is not counting, pressing the fire button will make you switch between the worlds. If the timer is counting, pressing fire button will make you throw a cross. You have to set free the souls of the possessed boys by throwing crosses at them. Some of them will also attack you with crosses, and they can hit you from hell if you are in the normal world, so watch out!

Every time you get hit you will lose a life, but you will also get a life when you set a soul free. To enter the room with the demon you have to set free all 50 souls and bring two items.

Finding the two items is actually the toughest part of the game, because there are many more than two and picking up the wrong ones will cause immediately death and Game Over. You have to look for clues to pick up the right ones.

This is a 48k game with beeper sound, but the sound is very well made and catches the atmosphere of a horror game very good. The sprites are looking great and fits the game well. Graphically it is on the right track, switching between the blue and red worlds works great, and this could actually have been an awesome horror game. However, the game unfortunately suffers from major color clash problems, and this totally ruins the horror atmosphere.

This is a shame because it is caused by moving white sprites over blue/red carpets/stairs with black background, (2:58) and then you blend in to the carpet or stairs. There is a lot of big carpets in many of the rooms, and this becomes an issue already on the very first screen. This could very easy have been avoided. You can off course avoid the carpets like done most of the time in this video, but it is still annoying and the enemies will move there, and at some places (11:20) it is almost impossible to see what’s going on.

The author has also made Alien Girl (See here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QfNEpj4nYpo&feature=youtu.be) that is also a very good game, but also suffered a bit from color clash problems. Alien Girl and Nosy are great games so this is a shame. Both games could use a v. 1.1 where this is fixed, making them look excellent, and taking the quality up to a higher level.

Nosy is participant in the Mojon Twins MK1 competition and a very original and special game, it plays and controls well. It is a bit short with only about 30 rooms and at places it can be hard to see what's happening because of color clash.
