This is an unboxing and review of the Nuraphone and Gaming Microphone setup. This essentially takes Nuarphone (personalised audio headphones) and combines them with a 3.5mm microphone to allow you to use them on Xbox, PC/Mac, PlayStation, Switch, Mobile.

Nuraphone is awesome because it delivers fantastic personalised sound with a curious design that mixes both in-ear and over-ear designs combined with active noise cancellation and much more to immerse you in the sound.

With Bluetooth and 3.5mm connection options you theoretically have a great sounding option for gaming BUT not without the problems that I cover in this video.

Highlights for me include:
Fantastic personalised audio that's tuned to your ears
Excellent active and passive noise cancellation
Nifty "immersion" mode that gives the effect of being at a concert/night club
Sturdy and well built design
Interesting aesthetics
Customisable touch controls
Great battery life and battery managment

Lowlights:
I can't recommend the comfort (but I don't like in-ears so it's a personal taste)
The mic doesn't come with a splitter so I couldn't use it
Cables are proprietary and not included so you need to buy more to connect to USB-C, Lightning etc
Incredibly expensive vs gaming headsets out there

Specs of Nuraphone include:
Dimensions 80mm x 190mm x 180mm, 2m cable length
Weight 80g
Connectivity 3.5mm (1/8") analog connection, connects to Xbox, PC/Mac, Playstation, Switch, Mobile
Microphone Unidirectional microphone sensitivity -51dB
Compatibility Compatible with the Nuraphone
In the box Nuraphone Gaming Microphone, Secure Hook
Nuraphone
Dimensions 190 x 170 x 88mm
Weight 329g
Connectivity Bluetooth aptX HD, Universal Wired (Lightning, USB-C, micro-USB, analog)
Battery Up to 20hrs Lithium Ion Battery, full charge in 3 hrs
Noise Isolation Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) + Dual passive isolation
Materials Japanese steel, aluminium cups, Bio-compatible, Soft-Touch silicone material
Microphone External microphone for voice calls
In the box Nuraphone, Analog cable, USB-A charging cable, Soft travel case, Multi-sized eartips

Note you need a single/mixed output on PC, if not this is the guidance:

"In order to connect the Nuraphone Gaming Microphone to a PC or Mac, your computer must have a single headphone port that can also accept a microphone signal (or 4-pin TRRS input).
If your computer does have an integrated headphone / microphone 3.5mm port:
Please connect the Nuraphone Gaming Microphone to the headphone port and ensure that the on-board headphone/microphone signal is selected within your computer’s settings.
If your computer does not have a combined port:
Check whether your computer has separate ports, such as those two ports listed below:
In this instance, you'll need to look at using a 3.5 mm Stereo Audio Splitter (1 Female to 2 Male) Adapter Cable in order to connect the Nuraphone Gaming Microphone to your computer."
