OBS Studio is a complete video recording and streaming program.

Now, OBS Project has released OBS Studio 27.2.1 as the first point release of the latest OBS Studio 27.2 series.
What's New in OBS Studio 27.2.1
Coming just a week after the release of OBS Studio 27.2, the point release of OBS Studio 27.2.1 is here to address some issues reported by users of the previous version, as well as to improve some of the existing functionality in an attempt to make the software more stable. and reliable during recording and streaming.
Specific to Linux users, OBS Studio version 27.2.1 correctly improves camera support, addresses an issue where some cameras did not decode on GNU/Linux systems and plugs a memory leak in the new PipeWire capture feature.
It also adds a “legendary” workaround to fix some kind of driver/kernel bug that caused browser font to trigger a full system freeze for some NVIDIA GPU users, improves performance of updated Chromium version of the font browser and updates AOM /SVT for new upstream features.
Other than that, it fixes an issue that broke some common keyboard shortcuts (eg Ctrl-F to fit a font to the screen), fixes SRT and RIST from crashing the app when the URL is not defined or when a media source is disabled with a RIST URL and fixes an issue that broke the resize handle when dragged to the top in the filter window.
Among other notable changes included in the OBS Studio 27.2.1 point release, hiding the app from capture is now logged and some other bugs specific to macOS and Windows users have been resolved.
