I'm really excited to present my first-ever collaborative VGM arrangement! Here's the next VGMallets entry: Oasis in the Sparkling Sands, from Octopath Traveler!

I first saw Adam's work on YouTube several months ago, and we connected a little while ago on Twitter. Especially considering the current circumstances, I thought it would be a really good project to try and work with someone online, with the added bonus of introducing some diversity to the arrangement! Adam ended up recording the vibraphone and djembe parts on his Malletstation, and the entire process was really smooth!

This is one of the few times I decided to arrange a game's theme without actually having played the game, but I'm really pleased with how it came out. Funnily enough, the first version of this track that I heard wasn't the original, but the amazing cover by Patti Rudisill and Harpsona, so definitely check that out too!
