My thoughts on this part:
The only chapter you need to reset to see all Ophilia's banter in a single playthrough. It's impossible to have all of it in the same save file unless people find a new way to glitch things out 🤔. There is a glitch to bypass the trigger here (25:10) on Switch (you can do the same in similar cases) but only to some extends; like you still can't enter the next map here after you pass the roadblock, which is Ebony Grotto in this case. To sum up, even if we managed to get to the portal where we move to the new map, I doubt that you can escape and move to other places from there. Seems like there are event flags to prevent thing.
Mattias was quite a pushover at this point in the game. It's only difficult when you fail to break his shield before Mattias summons help, 2 of them are a bit annoying when Mattias can't block you from using your multi-target spell but that's about it. At first, I also want to do some show-case to show all of the minion weakness in this video but well, it's time-consuming and to be honest, Strategist Achievements do not count script boss battle and their minion as something you need to do to complete it.
The boss battle with Mattias is one of only two to have in-battle dialogue during the battle, the other being Darius. However, unlike the latter, there is voice acting during the dialogue.
