Video provided by Facebook explains how Facebook's Oculus Insight tracking system accurately and efficiently tracks hand and head movements. Accelerometers, gyroscopes and cameras embedded on the hardware itself provide a data stream (essentially anytime the white light is on at the top of the Quest) that is constantly analyzed for movement predictions. These predictions are used to draw the visuals of your virtual world precisely where your head is going to be at just the right time.
