I've been on the lookout for the best VR gaming headset that I could recommend to casual viewers and tech fans, as I've always felt that the VR headset that needs to be tethered to a computer was too restrictive. Enter the Oculus Quest VR gaming system! Now we finally have a device that let's anyone enjoy high-quality VR almost anywhere in the house without the need for a bunch of wires, high-end gaming PC, etc.
In this video we go through an Oculus Quest unboxing, I give you a walkthrough of the hardware and what's in the box, then we do Oculus Quest setup and how to use the app and Guardian system before you start playing. Unlike other headsets that require additional equipment, external sensors or a lengthy set-up process, once the Quest is charged up you can be up-and-running within a few minutes thanks to an easy set-up within the Oculus mobile app.
The Oculus Quest’s internals include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile chipset from 2017 and 64GB or 128GB of storage. It adds features like a volume rocker, a power button, and a USB-C charging port.
