Oculus Rift DK2: Apollo 11 - Part 2 (Finale): Tour-retour the Moon!
4After successfully launching into space and properly deploying the lunar module, we set course straight for the Moon. Landing the lunar module was a difficult task, but the experience of doing so felt extremely rewarding. We explore, experiment on a tiny portion of the Moon and, not least, having a surreal blast by realizing what we just have achieved. We are the first to ever stand on the Moon!! Even though this is "merely" a virtual reality project, it is as close as it gets to the real deal, and it sure will be something I will remember the next time I look up to the night sky to look for the mysterious yellow space object.
After taking this all in, we realize that we still have to make it back in one piece, so we start preparing our return to Earth.
