The Coalition of United Political Parties(CUPP) has commended the Independent National Electoral Commission,INEC, for the conduct of last weekend off cycle elections in Imo, Kogi and Bayelsa States.

Addressing a press conference on its review of the polls, CUPP steering Committee member, Bar Emeka Igwe, thumos up the electoral body for upping it's game especially in the area of deployment of electoral materials and staff to polling units as well as prompt response to compliants and emergency.

The security agencies were not left out in the election review process as Bar Igwe applauded thair professionalism in ensuring a hitch free elections.

The CUPP however raised concerns over some allegations raised by interested parties as it relates to the Conduct of the Governorship elections in the three states and called for thorough investigations by respective agencies.

The CUPP further aligned with the results announced by INEC, saying it reflects the wishes of the electorates.
