The Minister of State for Police Affairs, Imaan Suilaman-Ibrahim has indicated plans by the ministry to initiate reform's that will reposition the Nigeria police force for effective service delivery to Nigerians.

She stated this during a courtesy visit of the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. Abdullahi Sule to the Ministry in Abuja.

Imaan, pointed out that President Tinubu has entrusted them with a mandate to facilitate reforms that will engender effective policing in the
country.

On his part, the Minister of Police Affairs, Senator, Ibrahim Gaidam while appreciating the governor for the visit assured of the readiness of the Ministry to prioritize effective security reforms on Nigeria.

Earlier, the Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr Abdullahi Sule commended the Minister of State for Police Affairs for being a good ambassador of the state, and called for proactive reforms that will address the nations security challenges.

The Governor further explained the model of the state community policing, saying it has helped to reduce security concerns especially at the highways.
