The Lucio Skins, Abilities and Talents Overview is done and you all know what that means: Let’s go straight into a game of Quick Match and fail miserably, to the tears of our crying team mates! :D

In this video we will of course take a look at how at how Lucio from Overwatch really works in Heroes of the Storm, if Lucio’s healing and speed utility is as good in practice as it is in paper!

I’m fortunate enough that I get matched with another healer, Rehgar, which in turn means that I feel comfortable picking out the 2nd Heroiec Abiliy for Lucio, Reverse Amp - And It is fun!

Heroes of the Storm is Blizzard’s very own MOBA (Multiplayer Battle Online Arena), or Hero Brawler as they called the game themselves, and as such a 5 vs.5 PvP (Player versus Player) online game. According to Metacritic (http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/heroes-of-the-storm), the game mixed reviews from the users (preposterous, if I may say to myself!) and great reviews by game critics, such as Rock, Paper, Shotgun, who in their review wrote: “They’ve [Blizzard] looked at all this [MOBA] and said, “What if someone, like, actually fucking designed this?”” (https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2015/06/01/heroes-of-the-storm-review/).

I LOVE Heroes of the Storm (HotS for short!). Having dipped my toes into game design, Blizzard’s MOBA is pretty much everything I want with none of the stupid design flaws that I think plagues Defence of the Ancients 2 (DotA2) or League of Legends (LoL). HotS have gotten rid of arbitrary, solo-stuff like last hitting, individual experience, gold and items, and instead focuses much, much more on being fast (mounts, yay!), getting right into the fray and playing as a team on different maps too! HotS have succeeded with this by introducing team experience and talent points, where the latter is much like Diablo 3 and World of Warcraft. Combine the, in my opinion, amazing game design with Blizzard’s very own fantastic universes (I’m a HUGE Warcraft lore fan) and you’ve got a yourself a game of much amazing and epic awesomeness! :D
