For me, games are art. No question about it. Sure, it’s normally very different from the “traditional” art, but I still think it’s art. Sometimes, though, a game even comes along that might be more art than game... if that makes any sense xD Well, enter Voice :D
Voice is a game from the Global Game Jam 2017, in which the goal (if there even is one) is to communicate to others through what mostly sounds like musical notes, instead of actual language :P
The player walks around in a charming, minimalistic, hand drawn world, and simply have to… “speak” with others using sound from a selection of 4.
Personally, I picked up Voice because of the fantastic aesthetics, and the weird description from AlphaBetaGamer.com (http://www.alphabetagamer.com/voice-game-jam-build-download/). Well, Lemon Squad’s Voice pretty much delivered what was written, and is indeed very interesting :D
But, how can you find your voice, when you don’t have one..?
